Hailing from Adelaide, Sth Australia, critically acclaimed Multi-Instrumentalist Adam Page has been performing his spontaneous, improvised looping show since 2006. 

Adam Page is at the forefront of a new and unique style of performing, recording live instruments into loop pedals and spontaneously composing intricate grooves in many different styles. 

Primarily a Saxophone player, the instruments Page loops are as diverse as Bass, Keys, Percussion, Vocals, Tuvan Throat Singing, Beat Boxing, Guitar, Flute, Clarinet, Mbira (African Thumb Piano), Didgeridoo and Nose Flute in styles ranging from Funk, Tango and Punjabi to Classical, Jazz and Metal!

However, his range as a musician is not limited to his playing of instruments – beat boxing or dancing around in sumo-suits, “down to earth Aussie comedy” (Three Weeks Magazine, Edinburgh) complete this well-rounded entertainer.

Since winning the prestigious “BEST MUSIC BY AN EMERGING ARTIST” award at the 2007 Adelaide Fringe Festival, Page has been going strong producing his first solo CD “ADAM PAGE SOLO – no relation to han”, touring Australia 7 times, performing a 24 night season at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, winning “BEST MUSIC” and “BEST SOLO SHOW” at the 2009 NEW ZEALAND Fringe festival, collaborating with multi award winning New Zealand percussion group STRIKE, performing with The Transatlantics at the 2009 Adelaide BIG DAY OUT, producing a full length concert DVD – “DIVA DVD” and touring Australia with “Webb Page”, Adam Page and Mal Webb (composer/performer “Lano and Woodley”). Recently Page played in New Zealand with The Adelaide Sax Pack, featuring the vocalist Lisa Tomlins (Trinity Roots, Fat Freddy's Drop, Shapeshifter, Fly my Pretties).

Being dubbed as ‘making Mike Oldfield seem over produced’ (The Sunday Mail), Adam Page ‘Solo’ is probably the most original performance you will see… and you have to see it to believe it! Incorporating audience participation, virtuosity on all instruments and an infectious sense of humour, Adam Page ‘Solo’ is a musical journey of the highest calibre.

He has also toured the world playing Saxophone, Flute and Clarinet in orchestras on “Princess” cruise ships for 3 and a half years, playing with some of the worlds best cabaret performers. Destinations travelled to and performed in included Tahiti, Caribbean, Mexico, United States, Canada, Alaska, United Kingdom, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Greek islands and Turkey.

In 2001 Adam began touring with Perth based funk band "The Jive Express", touring Australia nine times, selling out venues such as The Basement in Sydney, and New Zealand twice over a year and a half.

Other achievements have included;

- 1998 - finalist in James Morrison jazz scholarship

- 1999 - most outstanding saxophone player at Adelaide uni

- 2000 - most outstanding post graduate jazz student at Adelaide uni

- 2000 - studied and performed with world renowned Indian musician, sitarist Dr. Chandracant Sardeshmukh

- 2000 - composer for Queensland based horror film “back”

- 2000 - leader of Elder Conservatorium big band 3

- 2001 - leader of Elder Conservatorium big band 2

- 2009 - premiering in Australia the Saxophone quartet (with Trombone) piece 'Transformation' by Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina with The Adelaide Sax Pack.

- 2009 to present - holding a 'listening class' at Adelaide university.
